Considering that today’s Democratic Party is basically a party of corporatist, banking, and asset mgmt servants, ironically, Bernie wasn’t that far off. As Rudy points out, our govt seems hell bent on inflating Larry Fink’s net worth. Open borders, cheap labor, and loads of easy money accomplish that.

From today’s PPI: Prices for portfolio management services increased 3.6% and were the largest contributor to Services PPI.

Larry Fink’s net worth is very pleased.

that Bernie Sanders clip is fantastic. I'm not sure if he was completely gaslighting or his views have done a 180 since then

Kimmel concludes that those who voted for Trump are also in trouble, they just don’t realise it. Perhaps. Supporter or not most hope Trump will, this time, deliver on his promises. But so far the only people I’ve noticed ‘in trouble’ are the woke cultists who are eating each other and playing the blame game. Kinda like ‘he who lives by the sword dies by the sword’ cuz they can’t blame the Trump voters I guess. Taibbi’s latest piece on this phenomenon was joy to read in that regard.

Hopefully some day soon the Harris supporters will learn that a people - who were given free will by God above - do not like being told what to think, who to like, who their enemies are, who we should value/worship, when we should be afraid, how well we are doing, etc. Our Constitution is based on God’s given free will and building for the common good - we need to get back to our roots.

Interesting that no analysts have blamed the USA for blowing up the Nordstream pipeline and throwing Germany and the UK into a recession by increasing their energy costs 10X?

I made a comment on that a while back. Nuland basically bragged that we did it. We have the motive. Now Europe needs U.S. LNG!

I read another sub who wrote that the pipelines are hard to maintain when they are off, maybe impossible. Something about ice buildup. Given the aptitude of the average Russian maintenance worker, (e.g., draining hydraulic lines to drink for a buzz), he postulated that the lack of maintenance and incompetence could have caused it to implode on its' own. Don't @me...
