Well, if I didn't know what to think reading all this, your job accomplished. It's True. It's never true.

Thanks for the song.

Rudi…..much in common with Pippa’s current piece. Feels tense and unsettling out here in Flyover country….makes one wonder if there’s much left to steal.

Does it matter that the CIA “briefs” the heads of every major American bank (and many non-American banks as well)? Does it matter if the Imperial establishment illicitly and secretly runs banks of its own? America has still never quite faced the stories of what really happened in the Iran-Contra scandal, with BCCI, and even Wirecard, and many other banking and finance scandals.

“Sports fathers” & “stage mothers” are already those actors on that stage long before they become actual mothers & fathers.

Narcissism. Solipsism. Desperate vicariousness. Munchausen-by-proxy.

No statistical error … religious catechism & dogma … the error in social “sciences”: POSIWID.

In other words, it’s purposeful & motivated, tactical & strategic, not an error at all … it is working, has worked, will continue to work, bringing in those sheaves harvested with all those sharp shivs.

“Monopoly-like profits” (Mike Green). Prophets of profit want to have & eat the cake. Monopolies & cartels are organized crime. Usually behind color of law - also organized crime. Crime does not generate “profits.”

Loose lips. It’s same as excluding statistical error … into a lip-pocket, maybe

Bestiality eventuates in sexual gratification - but it’s not sex. Pedophilia isn't, either.

Sexual, virtual, categories & inclusion errors, thesauruses ... rivers of muddy words.

Congress. Lobbyists. Obverse/reverse of the pimps-whores fiat coin of the realms. The Professionals, 1966:

I remember Netscape Navigator. Loved that Riming Ancient Mariner. Until s/he/they shot the Albatross. Kessler, & Burt Lancaster, above,“nothing is forever … except death.”

2nd cite in as many weeks:

“O the ultimate evil in the temporal world is deeper than any specific evil, such as hatred, or suffering, or death! The ultimate evil is that Time is perpetual perishing, and being actual involves elimination. The nature of evil may be epitomized, therefore, in two simple but horrible and holy propositions: 'Things fade' and 'Alternatives exclude.' Such is His mystery: that beauty requires contrast, and that discord is fundamental to the creation of new intensities of feeling. Ultimate wisdom, I have come to perceive, lies in the perception that the solemnity and grandeur of the universe rise through the slow process of unification in which the diversities of existence are utilized, and nothing, 'nothing' is lost.” Grendel, John Gardner

Cool as that is, its a miss. Time doesn’t perish. Time may not even exist. But people perish. And will do anything, all the usual suspect things, to perish the thought.

“Netscape is a footnote in history but proof that the spark of a new idea and the freedom to pursue it, coupled with robust capital markets and even a dose of runaway speculation, can change everything”?

Rust Cohle acts out others’ interesting ideas.

If it, all of it, including IT, is looked at in the easiest most auto-default ways of seeing - which POSIWID panders to & reinforces from the crib to the coffin - “the charts” are going to hang that Albatross carcass round those projecting necks. Again. And again. And again.

Yes, we have no anomalies … & Taco Bell’s got no drive-thru tamales … but even if they did, those’d be anomalies … please don’t eat the daisies … or the drive-thru tamales.

The country, the human world, has been anti-social’ist from the get.

“John Henry was a steel-driving man.”

I worked a star drill & hammer in the 70’s. Never heard/of Joe Henry before, but am going to work this tune of his into the repertoire.

I haven’t seen Captain Phillips. It is a good scene. But I’ve been in ER’s many times. Not like the movies. Not even close.

Ahhh, well, nobody gets out alive. Terence Stamp. This was underrated, probably (I don’t read flick ratings). Was about middle-aged angsts & regrets & building towers to the sky … or “number goes up.” The Big Chill with almost as much talking about how chilly everybody is, but not so wimpy, or maybe just not as many ensemble cast wimps … & with a much tougher female character played by Sheryl Lee.

The Deden link is not useful. It goes to Internet Archive and just has an animation. The Deden link on archive.is works well:

https://archive.is/20210205082343/https://www.investorsingh.com/40-invaluable-investing-lessons-from-tony-deden/

I'm finding archive.is is generally more functional.

Wife said we need to improve the expense side of the ledger. I told her I could reduce my number of paid Substack subscriptions. (She is not a Substack user).

And now I have done so. Thanks for helping me out.

"The greatest conspiracies are open and notorious - they're not theories, they're practices..."

Edward Snowden

This seems true to me. Most of the rest are easily discovered now by the frequent echoing of terms that are exactly the opposite of the reality. If you hear something described a certain way repeatedly, just know the opposite is true and they are gaslighting you again.
