Great interview that you really should listen to (even if Jim Grant can’t afford a decent microphone.) Many good quotes and insights, so I transcribed a few for future reference.

Whalen hasn’t interacted with me since 2019 (probably has me muted), but Grant’s does follow me, so there’s that. One time when I was “permanently banned” Jim Grant even sent me an email, which was nice. Best financial historian around, and an inspiring wordsmith.

I was going to put this in one of my regular posts, but decided to do it stand-alone to avoid it getting lost in the shuffle. I’ll post my next regular missive in a day or two.
