fyi They now have something called Substack Notes, which is like Twitter, sort of, and freaking Elon Musk out, which is nice.
(This email is from a Substack template:)
“Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.”
Me: I’ll likely use it for funny photos, dumb jokes, short quips where I speak truth to an unlistening, uncaring power, #etf pics, Ray Dalio hot dog quotes, Fugazi and Casino pics, breaking news, links to serious stuff, etc.
I’ll try to avoid alleged DMCA violations.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to A Havenstein Moment, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of A Havenstein Moment can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
Holy crap - Notes is very similar to Twitter - Musk must be freaking out.
I need a new book suggestion - anyone got any ideas? Just finished Poisoner in Chief and possibly about to start Tower of Basel
