The problem with Newsom is the problem I see nearly everywhere. Psychopaths are a magnet for public office. It’s our own fault though. What does it take to have those with a moral compass, who can’t be bought, to serve? And that said, who would want to be captain on a sinking ship (besides more psychopaths)?
As a kid, around Christmas, we would get a huge box delivered to our house from my great grandparents who lived in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. This was obviously long before Amazon. Every year the box was the same, filled with grapefruits and mixed nuts. As I got older I asked my dad why my great grandparents sent us this box every year…my dad said “California is the land of fruits and nuts”…still holds water!

Government abuses people to the breaking point of their tolerance. If that point of tolerance accepts an extraordinary amount of abuse, like CA and most the the US, I think the level of push back when the breaking point is reached is an exponential relationship to the level of abuse. It seems that the US will experience a 14th century style peasant revolt at some point. The psychopaths do not have the control they probably wanted at this point. It will become extremely ugly before things improve, if that ever happens, we'll see.
Maybe once these people are publicly barbecued we can have discussions on term limits, enforced budget balancing, a real money system, etc. that comports with the reality we are experiencing rather than the narratives they are ceaselessly pushing.
I remember seeing lineups to get into Victoria secrets in the mall. 4 shoppers in 2000 sq foot store while 20 waited shoulder to shoulder in line outside.
Our society has selected for psychopathic leaders. They are everywhere. One thing I am certain of is that we are at a watershed moment in history. That nothing which came before will much resemble what comes after. The one saving grace of these times is the abundant truth it offers to be able to define what is wrong. People like Newsom - and they are everywhere - will have no place as leaders.
Californians not Newsom are the reason we have governors like him in this state. The Sun and UV have done the job on them and caused brain retardation not to mention skin cancer.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected governor because he was popular and we know from what. Jerry Brown was popular because he was almost black by being brown.
California is very sensitive to skin color but they hate Russians thinking of them as extraterrestrial, they hate Asians because they cannot open their eyes wide and were very happy at one time when they locked up the Japanese in camps. Kids who graduate from high school here think that Texas is in California after graduating from Blue Ribbon Schools (Blue Ribbon means designated as best).
It would be of no surprise if they imported someone from France and declared him king or queen and give up on elections. Let the dynasty rule.
I wish someone would take some measuring tape and determine their IQ. It would mostly be under a foot.
