Gawd I’ve missed you! This is good form right here and sorry I missed the song on Friday, it sounds better on Friday.

P.s - I tell my first year college Econ classes regularly that PhD economists deserve to be made fun of until they cry

Do you ever see/read people like Krugman’s quotes and think, this a-hole had to go to private school his whole young life…..because if he had been around real people, he would have spouted off something, and gotten the absolute hell beaten out of him, and it would have changed his life (for the better).

Not to mention Krugman is an absolute partisan leftist / Democratic hack. Several times - not once - he's written pieces excoriating some policy when a Republican Congress or President is in office, and written a suckup praising piece around a similar (but of course slightly more nuanced) policy when the Ds are proposing it.

Reminded of this Chris Rock line: "Anybody who says words hurt has never been punched in the face."

Yes. It's VERY common in academia. They're often high IQ, and utterly clueless.

I knew a kid like that. Total jerk. Needed to get punched in the face, but he was 10 years younger, and I knew his brothers, so I couldn't be the one. Somehow, I don't think anyone ever clocked him. He's still a jerk.

Adam Schiff is another. And, in the interest of fairness, Lindsey Graham.

Thanks. I'll fix that asap

You should have put 2.2 in quotations, too. We all know that "2.2" then was still a farce.
