There should be a lifetime achievement award for Krugman. Perhaps call it the Jim Cramer Perspicacity Award for Insightful Prediction. Happy Thanksgiving, Rudy—always a great read!

Two things; first, George Washington truly was a smart fellow!

second, I happened to listen to the Grant Williams - Simon Hunt podcast this morning. Simon certainly has a very different view of the world than many others. the problem, I think, for most of us, is that unless we have true on-the-ground information in Russia and Ukraine, and Iran for that matter, we have absolutely no idea who to believe. both sides can spin a story. but what is real?

We've been wanting war with Iran since 1979. I just think too many think they'd be some sort of pushover. Look at Iraq, we kicked butt and then got stuck for years (leading to the creation of ISIS, among other things.) We didn't "win" in Afghanistan. Libya's a mess. The Houthis are taking on our carriers. Maybe our top military leadership is not very good?
