Yes! The part where they talk about scooting people from the center over to the edge, and then saying….look at that crazy guy on the edge!

“ An electric GMC Hummer weighs 9,000 pounds, and its battery pack — roughly 2,900 pounds — is the weight of a typical Honda Civic, she said…”

This is unbelievable. Meanwhile, we are subjected to virtue signalers constantly pretending that EVs have no environmental impact simply because there are no tailpipe emissions. Before we ban sales of new gas cars by 2035 (as CA is doing with other blue states not far behind, and the Feds on track next time the house goes Democratic), maybe we should consider all of the implications on the grid, mining for resources in third world countries, and I guess now we have to worry about potential garage collapses….

Student loans are the gateway step to fee college for all since most will never be repaid, just written off. The program needs to be cancelled before it causes further damage to individuals and the whole economy

The money quote from the student loan article: "When government sells education as the answer to government-caused wealth inequality, and makes trillions in student loans available to the industry that supplies it, government is helping that industry fleece its customers." Combine that with single family homes being bought by institutions and you have an entire generation that can't gather assets, forever renting their lifestyles. Like the EV owners and parking garages, do we never think of unintended consequences in our public policies?

Why do you only focus on bad news? WeWork was up 33% last week but it doesn't get a mention? The Hudson quote is everything, it's Bernie Sanders and Liz Warren, Jack and Jill Mainstreet, there's a hundred of them and a million of us and they still won, still got theirs. Our eternal belief in the system is the real cognitive dissonance...

Muir liked your shirt??!! You magnificent bast...

I was so close to Joan Jett as she sang Do You Wanna Touch that I could smell her leather. (82 or 83ish) Long before I realized she would never marry me.

Bumped shoulders with Gibby Haynes in a narrow stairwell at the Fitzgerald in Houston during a show; when you accidentally touch Gibby, you smell like Gibby for the rest of the night.

No contest, Muir-plement wins hands down.
