"I'm pretty disappointed with reality right now." - Bennett Tomlin October 8, 2020: The Most Dovish Fed in History Is on a Mission to Spur Inflation Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell has done everything to demonstrate his desire for higher inflation
Perfect title. This is off topic, but it reminded me of a humorous moment when The Outlaws played the Roma bar in Telluride CO back in the late 80s or early 90s maybe? Anyway, they were out skiing that day and they were dressed basically the same way they appear on stage, leather jackets, blue jeans and cowboy hats, no thousand dollar powder suits for these lads (though not really lads at that point).
Great show too.
Thank you for posting here so I don't have to use Twitter.
So people getting screwed by financial institutions, by their failed employers’ promises, over run by thieving homeless people, struggling under a rigged system and FED, told to eat bugs or maybe your neighbour - Elites beware - lots of guns in the US - start governing or people will take The Portland police at their word, 'Handle it yourself, don’t call us,'”
Every time I think of the WEF and their plans, I get closer to believing they are actually the most dangerous terrorist group in the world. after all, the dictionary definition of terrorism
terrorism
tĕr′ə-rĭz″əm
noun
1. The use of violence or the threat of violence, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political goals.
2. Resort to terrorizing methods as a means of coercion, or the state of fear and submission produced by the prevalence of such methods.
3. The act of terrorizing, or state of being terrorized; a mode of government by terror or intimidation.
makes it pretty clear that they are completely focused on point 2.
Perhaps, next time they meet in Davos we can close off the city and send in bugs for their nutrition.
The Great Moderation (high growth with low inflation) was never possible to sustain over a long timeframe. As we sought deflationary offset to the consumption basket via outsourcing, the mathematics of offsetting inflation in the rest of the basket would get asymptotically harder. We are now at the point where the deflationary part of the consumption basket (TVs, electronics, textiles from China, etc) cannot possibly offset the heavily-financialized inflationary items (education, healthcare, automotive and housing). What is the Fed left to do in order to engineer deflationary pressure? Destroy the latter group via financing costs
Bro… I think the only thing I need to read is your posts.
You're a national treasure Rudy.
