Based on a true story of the first female as a chief inspector over a group of male inspectors. Very well done.

Line of Duty looks interesting. Thanks. You’ve likely seen two outstanding crime series, "The Wire" (U.S.) and "Prime Suspect" (British, starring the great Helen Mirren).

If you also happen to like historical drama and can overlook a brief bit of fantasy to initiate it by the main British character shortly after being a nurse in WWII getting thrown back 200 years to Scotland, well, you might enjoy the realism to that period and the plot and character development in “Outlander.”

The female star is the central character in the recent excellent movie about the Irish Troubles, “Belfast."

Season 2 True Detective was really good especially since it focused on the corruption involved with all these pork barrel public transportation projects that I am personally interested in. Season 1 was the best but its ending was sorta weird. IMO of course

I've watched the first season of True Detective at least 5 times, and probably closer to 10. Rust is my spirit animal.

The comments in the FT are usually better than the articles themselves.

It's always interesting to notice which articles have comments disabled. Anything mentioning Jamie Dimon, for example.
