Back in August, the Fed (and their media acolytes) made a big deal about how the MBS numbers were not an accurate portrayal of the QT they were doing due to reinvestment timing issue but soon, very soon, this effect would dissipate. I believe they said by late September. And we are nearly there so any day now we should see the QT… I admit that I haven’t taken the time to look too deeply into the technical weeds on that point.

The saddest part is, the mechanism which is once again going to decimate us, is as well known and comprehensible to the vast majority of the most decimated victims, who vastly outnumber those it has enriched, as the latest quantum physics discoveries at CERN. They'll be hit by a meteor in their sleep, which the people who supposedly protected them, kept adding more mass and accelleration to, while making sure it impacted far from their own luxurious survival bunkers.

"Honest to goodness, the bars weren't open this morning. They must have been voting for the president or something, ...." First time I saw them live was the opening act for Van Halen. Amazing, because I was more of an X fan than a Van Halen fan. Both shows were great.

I think I last saw them live in 2019.

I really miss live music events. It used to be such a big part of my life, and one I kind of took for granted at the time.

I just saw Cracker not long ago in a small venue. I'd rather see some random band in a bar than see the Stones at the Rose Bowl. Not big on crowds. Some good indie bands play near me once in a while but I really don't go to many concerts now. I have a friend on the other hand who probably goes to 2 big shows in LA a week.

Absolutely, small venues are the best. I was fortunate to live in places where night clubs and bars featured really great bands in the 80s and 90s. I was too young at the time, but the first AC/DC American tour, they played a now defunct bar near UW campus in Madison, this was 1977? I think? But the drinking age was 18, so a few years later I was able to see some great bands live, Madison, Chicago and Milwaukee were on many tours, big and small venues. Later I lived in NYC and used to go to the Lone Star Cafe, The Cat Club and other fun spots. CBGBs was closed by then I think.

If you ever get the chance - though it's been many years since I've been there - the Jazz Festival in New Orleans is just amazing, especially the club scene during the two week period the festival is on (last weekend of April, first weekend of May). All the bands and musicians play the local clubs, often unannounced, they'll just be in the audience and get up and play with whoever is on stage. Ridiculous fun.

Especially liked the Turkey analogy. On that basis, perhaps someone will be brought to account ?

Godspeed Rudy. It’s quite a read, you call time on these crooks

Rudy, there are numerous commentators warning about US retail bank “bail ins” or non-availability of funds. Is this something we should take seriously? I mean, very rich people have their money in US banks, too.

I wouldn't worry much if you're under the FDIC limits. Above that who knows.

Completely understand! The gloves are coming off!!! Maybe I shouldn’t have given them a ballpark figure of how many commies/tyrants my family has killed dating back to 1776 😂😂😂 We don’t miss!

I had a Twitter friend reach out to someone at Twitter who looked into my case. They had buried me for real. I can't ask him to do the same for someone else. Sorry.
