Many of the people who were harmed by trusting Rachel Maddow should file suit against her. Same for the other talking heads. If Alex Jones can be convicted for saying things, so can anyone.

Good point. Unfortunately the American 'justice' system is owned and operated by criminal psychopaths, likewise for the other two branches of government and the fourth estate. Until this is remedied, there will not be anything like fairness, sanity or justice in the US.

how is it any different than serving Shaq?

they promoted a product, lied about it, expectations were NOT met, they had material information not available to the public, on and on

I'm not sure who Shaq is in this context. Please say more.

He is a famous former NBA star. Trying to establish that some promoters in positions of trust who pushed drugs on a premise that was a lie, that didn't do what they said in function, and that weren't free when the government paid for, these people get a pass, no charges.

The mandates had no justification without claiming an effect on transmission so any question about that matter was suppressed “for the greater good”. I’d expect this from government. But the media is supposed to challenge authority. The MSM are just docile lapdogs.

And fwiw, I got four shots. The first two to protect myself but the boosters were to protect at risk family members. Turns out I didn’t protect them b/c the vax doesn’t prevent infection or transmission. So I’m angry like many others.

You’re lucky your still alive.

I’m not antivax. That’s not the point. The point is that the government/msm were not truthful with the American people about what the vax could and could not protect against.

You should be. Read Dissolving Illusions and Virus Mania, for starters. It’s myths, manipulation, and lies going all the way back to Jenner and small pox. They haven’t been truthful for the past century and more.

I have been saying this for 3 years but surely now the truth about vaccines MUST come out https://georgiedonny.substack.com/p/lets-hope-the-monkey-pox-nonsense Alfred Wallace pointed out in 1893 how incredible it was that so many 'educated specialists' were deceived that the smallpox vaccine was effective

Ironic that OSHA doesn't care about vaccine side effects, but during the COVID brouhaha, exposure to a (suspected or otherwise) COVID infected co-worker was an OSHA recordable for the employer. I believe this contributed greatly to our economic destruction and has been poorly discussed in general. Never before had OSHA been empowered to require employers to report exposures to respiratory illnesses. They should stick to requiring orange plastic protectors on the ends of exposed rebar at construction sites to prevent impalement injuries.

Maddow, a highly educated Rhodes scholar claims covid (emergency approved and big pharma advocated) vaccine is 100% effective vs ‘are these unregistered securities’ Taylor Swift. One of these two influencers understands their responsibility to the public good.

I hung on her every word during what’s now the bogus Russiagate I’m embarrassed to write. I used to assume integrity with smart people. Gifted with brains no need to cheat, right? To be fair to me, she seemed credible. Sigh.

Dick Cheney and Don Rumsfeld were smart too. Bernanke's smart.

True but being in politics and intelligence and generally giving off a shifty feel sends a message. Journalists traditionally were supposed to be on team public so guard was down

Well I'm glad you woke up but I can't imagine anyone believing anything that man had to say about Trump and Russia.

I used to watch Maddow (and Olbermann) during the GW Bush years, but once Trump won (and I am not a Trump supporter), she, like many, went completely insane.

I’m disappointed in you Rudy H. Both team blue and red could give a rat’s ass about the little folks. Watching Maddow and Olbermann or Hannity and Oreilly is a waste of brain cells.

Lost a tiny bit of respect for you reading this. Sorry.🥲

Taylor’s inquiry when seen in full is most likely from her folks one if not both had to take certification testing to show they knew the scope of securities regulations. From her wiki: “Scott Kingsley Swift, is a former stockbroker for Merrill Lynch and her mother, Andrea Gardner Swift (née Finlay), is a former homemaker who previously worked as a mutual fund marketing executive”.

She’s insanely smart to listen to her parents but that level of semantic specificity is from them.

Fair point. But the fact that she took advice - fortuitously it was in-house and worthy - and went with the responsible choice given her power to influence is what makes her the example (and unlike other celeb sponsors). Being generous, Maddow didn’t want to verify big Pharma’s claims; preferring to believe these emergency vaccines (so limited in testing) were the magic bullet (so didn’t bother to adequately investigate); or she’s just a tool for the establishment. Unregistered securities = inadequately tested vaccines.

Absolutely every word perfect!

I remember when Maddow avoided liability in court by claiming the whole show is entertainment and not news so shouldn’t be taken seriously (and certainly not seriously enough to endure accountability)

This mania has forever altered my perception of the govt / msm / institution apparatus. Everything I am "told" now has to be viewed with a critical eye. It requires more effort, but my family and kids will be better for it in the long run. Don't trust, verify. This applies to every aspect of life. In a weird way, I am thankful for the mania for waking me up.

I support her free speech right to lie, I just don't know why anyone would believe anything she says. And the fact she remains a very, very, very highly paid propagandist says a lot about our media.

Grill her and at least make her admit she got the talking points from whoever it is who sends them out and that she had no clue whether what she stated was correct. If the Constitution protects lying you should have the courage to own up to that when confronted. I just want them to at least have to squirm around a little bit. Considering what their lies may have done.

3 of our family got the vax due to work or school mandating it, two of us didn't. Luckily so far no health issues known. Did talk to a guy yesterday who'd pass his stress test3 mos prior to covid, wife who was a health professional convinced him to do it, went in with a heart attack, had multiple blood clotting issues causing it. Lucky to be alive. Spent month having the doctors run them down and removing them.

Lower down, a poster noted he wasn't anti-vax. I'm not anti-vaccine if it's manufactured on the up and up. Control groups were disbanded early in distribution, contrary data was shouted down, you were told to tow the line or risk being shut out of society. People were shaming each other. There are videos out there on getting the spike protein out of your system. Can't speak to their efficacy but out there if your search.
