Taibbi was one of the VERY few excellent chroniclers of the corporatocracy coup of 2000 and 2008-2009. For that alone he earned my respect.
He's quite "liberal" - it's just that too many "liberals" have morphed into woke fascists - hating on free speech and making Dick Cheney look like a pacifist. They lost their minds.
As always, I have no problem finding common ground on some issues and disagreeing on others. Rand Paul is not his father but he is generally excellent on Constitutional issues.
